Because of Corona everything has been delayed: originally the Metropolis was supposed to decide on one of the four proposed scenarios in May... now it's expected for the end of August/beginning of September. Depending on the scenario, there are different limits and different stickers would be banned from traffic. The air quality Institute supports the most ambitious option, in which vehicles (so probably cars, vans and trucks) with the stickers 5, 4 and 3 would be banned immediately. This should reduce nitrogen oxide levels by almost 20%. But only 25% of the population would benefit from better air quality.
But will it be enough to avoid the fine of the Council of State?
