More than 100,000 deaths due to diesel emissions

A new study from the American organization Environmental Health Analytics published in the magazine Nature shows that 107,600 people prematurely died in 2015 worldwide due to the health consequences of diesel emissions. Moreover, the experts calculated that 38,000 people died because of the non-observation of the legal emissions restrictions. Diesel vehicles emit yearly 4,6 millions of tons of nitrogen oxides more than they actually should.
