Slower on the motorway
In order to reduce CO2 emissions quickly, the Climate Convention proposes to reduce the speed on the motorway from 130km/h to 110km/h: -20 kn/h will result in 20% fewer CO2 emissions, that's consistent. The German motorways without a speed limit are indeed an exception in Europe, and in this case France takes the Netherlands (100km/h) as a model. Every hour, drivers "lose" between 4 and 8 minutes.
Will this make driving during the summer holidays more relaxed? Definitely!
